German Cockroaches (Blattella germanica)
German cockroaches are the most problematic cockroach species worldwide, thriving in kitchens and bathrooms where they rapidly establish large populations and contaminate food, utensils, and surfaces with allergens and pathogens linked to asthma, food poisoning, and diarrhea. A single female and her offspring can produce tens of thousands of cockroaches in a year under ideal conditions. Their small size, rapid reproduction, and developing resistance to many insecticides make DIY control largely ineffective. Professional gel baiting programs combined with insect growth regulators provide the most reliable elimination.
