Mosquitoes (Culicidae)
Mosquitoes are one of the world's most dangerous animals, responsible for transmitting serious diseases including West Nile virus, Zika, dengue fever, and malaria through their blood-feeding bites. Female mosquitoes require a blood meal to develop eggs and will breed in any standing water, from birdbaths and clogged gutters to natural ponds and ditches. Beyond disease risk, their bites cause itching and allergic reactions that diminish enjoyment of outdoor spaces. Our mosquito control programs combine larvicide treatments to eliminate breeding sites with adult population reduction using targeted residual sprays.
