Cigarette Beetles (Lasioderma serricorne)
Cigarette beetles are small, reddish-brown stored product pests that infest dried tobacco, spices, cereals, pet food, and a wide variety of pantry goods. They are among the most prolific stored product pests and can quickly contaminate large quantities of food. Adults are strong fliers and can spread infestations between rooms. Locating and discarding all infested materials, combined with pheromone traps and residual treatments, eliminates active infestations and prevents reinfestation.
